Today, March 30th, marks #WorldBipolarDay !
Join us in raising awareness about #BipolarDisorder , a mental health condition that affects millions worldwide.
🎗️ Let's use this opportunity for education and an open dialogue to end the stigma surrounding #mentalhealth issues.
Every psychiatrist has at some time lost a patient with bipolar disorder to suicide. My patient was a 20-year-old student. Her highs were excelling in academics and badminton, followed by Lows of being in bed without any energy.

Thanks Maliek Blade for the work you’re doing in the black #mentalhealth community, Stateside 🤎🌍
Representation matters. #WorldBipolarDay
Thanks to everyone who’s shared their experiences of bipolar today for #WorldBipolarDay .
I know it will always be a struggle to stay stable but seeing the incredible community around the world is a real inspiration.

One of the most repeated words from
people with dementia & families about the Alzheimer's Society advert is “cruel”. Imagine hearing that over & over again from the people you see as you charity’s “beneficiaries” & leaving the ad pinned to the top of your account.
Today is #WorldBipolarDay . I’m not clear what this day is supposed to do for us, but as someone with manic depression, I’m going to take it as an opportunity just yet again, as always since 2021, to defiantly refuse to hide my severe mental illness in silence. I am bipolar.
Thanks to everyone who joined us live for the Bipolar UK conference for #WorldBipolarDay 🌍🧡
I hope you found it empowering and informative.
If you missed it, it’s currently on repeat here: ⬇️

Jodie Buchanan My daddy was bipolar and I suspect my son is too. I worked as a psych nurse and I have so much respect for people with this diagnosis who just keep soldiering on - 🤗🌟🤗
Such an interesting, informative, realistic but also positive set of conversations. Valued the one about managing bipolar in the workplace in particular. Incredible that 1 million ppl live with it in UK, yet so much stigma abounds. Thank you Bipolar UK 🙏
A clip from one of the many videos I made whilst manic. I was obsessed with myself to an embarrassing extent 😂 happy #WorldBipolarDay everyone 🥰✨
Thank you to the team at Centre for Youth Bipolar Disorder for hosting this great event. Looking forward to WBD 2025!
