Yesterday I welcomed Assistant Secretary Barbara A. Leaf. I underlined the importance of the US administration protecting the two-state solution, including recognizing Palestine. Israeli escalation is unprecedented, and we will not remain silent.

I had a fruitful meeting yesterday with Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė. We discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and joint cooperation and exchanged views on the current situation in occupied Palestine.

The occupying Power bears full responsibility for killing 3-year-old Mohammad Tamimi. A bullet struck the toddler's head as the occupation forces fired live ammunition at him & his father. Without accountability, Israel's crimes against our people/children will continue unabated.
