First, studying for a Master’s degree in the UK is not a guaranteed ticket for a job.

Also, the Work VISA is hinged on your successful completion of your degree with the right classification - e.g. MSc in; and not a diploma. Ask for clarity.

Switching from a different degree e.g. from Social Sciences to study a degree in Public Health or Data Science at MSc level comes with lot of stress. This may likely impact your final grade; and your grade plays an important role in your next move or opportunity.

The idea that it is easy to work as a Full-time student & raise the reminder of tuition fees in the UK is not a walk in the park.

For instance, completely relying on a 20h/week job to cover the reminder of a tuition fees, accommodation (e.g. £450 - £600/month) and other daily expenses is no joke.

As regard your studies, you will be heavily loaded with lectures, coursework, and multiple deadlines.

Further, the University ranking (QS or World University Rankings), the course of study, and the final class of degree is important in terms of job opportunities

Going to a low ranked University for the sake of low tuition fees and graduating with a low grade has its own consequences.

My two cent;

Any venture that requires you sell all you’ve acquired in the last 3 or 4 decades of your life to an unknown territory and starting all over again requires a careful thought out plan & a SOLID Plan B

Don’t follow the crowd, be yourself, ask the right people.
