So, perhaps we should look at interventions to get medical students and doctors more active??

At #HRS2024 to present our data on #Lpa and #AF .

Lessons:
1) ~20% population have elevated Lp(a) (>50 mg/dL or >125 nmol/L)
2) Lp(a) ⬆️’s ASCVD risk 3-8 fold
3) ASCVD associates w/ AF (makes sense pathologically) NOT Lp(a) (increase risk of events)
