What’s better than getting a teaching & mentoring award? Getting one at the same time as a great friends and colleague Janice Law (she/her/s)

I spent my final day at Vanderbilt backing up data files, transferring protocol knowledge to Dr. Fiona Harrison, & storing my lab note books. These are a diary of my many mistakes learned from failed experiments & plenty of cool discoveries made over 5.5 years. I will miss this place!

First six weeks as assistant professor of neuroscience in the books and I LOVE IT. Belmont has been SO wonderful. So proud of my first undergraduate research students and their poster presentations this morning. I also have some really great colleagues. 😎

Me and fifty-something of my colleagues in the Belmont University College of Science and Mathematics gearing up for classes to start next week! I’m nervous for the first day of school even at this stage. 😳

Exciting news! I accepted a teaching professor position at University of University of Notre Dame. I am in the College of Arts and Letters’ Psychology Department, teaching undergraduates psychology and neuroscience as part of their Neuroscience and Behavior (NSBH) major. ☘️ Go Irish!
