1.75m - number of hours raw sewage discharged into rivers and seas last year

£1.4bn - dividends paid by water and sewage companies

Left: Rishi Sunak says there are 2,000 more GPs than there were in 2019.

Water companies 'paid £1.4bn in dividends in 2022, up from £540mn the previous year.'

Paris spends €1bn to clean up the Seine so people can go swimming in it while last year alone Thames Water 💧 spent 7,000 hours dumping sewage into 31 of London's rivers all of which ends up in the Thames.

Ho hum.

BP have just reported £3.9 billion more profits for the first 3 months of 2023.

Wholesale gas now 8 times cheaper than it was in August but energy bills remain at record highs.

They are filling their pockets.
