I’ve heard Governor Phil Murphy tell complaining commuters that NJ TRANSIT is largely fixed.

So I dove into every performance metric for train, bus, light rail and Access Link to compare how NJT was in 2017 compared to 2023.

Took me hours to manually count from NJT's Twitter feeds canceled trips on all 3 light rail lines and the 2 bus feeds just to get an idea of cancellation #s lately.

Those figures should absolutely be publicly available with the rest -- even if it's a fraction of trips serviced.

13 speakers by the end -- including (someone pointed out to me) Frank Fleming who was second to speak. Seems to be an avid reader of local news, citing NJT's controversial/expensive HQ move amid these budget probs and firing of NJT's manager on the Portal Bridge replacement project.

.Frank Fleming is right. These fare hikes are bad for commuters and bad for New Jersey. I urge NJ TRANSIT to go back to the drawing board.
