turns out the reason the state department is able to get better intelligence analysis with like a few hundreds people than the CIA with tens of thousands is because they actually hire subject matter experts

And just like that, Élysée comes around.

During his visit to Germany, Emmanuel Macron says Ukraine should be enabled to neutralize sites where Russian missiles are launched from, but not necessarily other military targets in Russia.

I wouldn't imagine Ukrainian F-16 pilots entering Russian airspace. But asking them to refrain from firing their air-to-air missiles at Russian jets or cruise missiles until and unless those jets or cruise missiles cross over into Ukrainian airspace will be as absurd in practice

🇺🇸President Biden should ditch his Hollywood fundraiser and attend the Ukraine Peace Summit in two weeks.

'(Biden's) absence would only be met by an applause by Putin, a personal, standing applause by Putin,' says Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський. kyivindependent.com/biden-absence-…

The idea trumpeted frequently in my feed that disarming Ukraine will produce peace is one of most illogical, ahistorical, naive takes I’ve ever had to read. If Ukraine is disarmed, Putin will kill more Ukrainians and occupy more Ukrainian land. Listen to what Putin says! Look at

Russia knows the The White House has tied Ukraine’s hands. Russia readies and launches its artillery, soldiers, and bombers just across the border to exploit the White House’s safe haven policy.

It’s insanity. .

What great news to see on my last day visiting Paris! Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announces that France will be sending personnel to train Ukrainian forces inside Ukraine. The The White House and others can and should follow suit.

Merci, monsieur Emmanuel Macron! t.me/osirskiy/702

Russia's tactics are terrorist tactics, by any legal or moral definition. I wrote this in July 2022, but after the deliberate targeting of a crowded shopping center and a book warehouse and printing plant in Kharkiv in recent days, it has to be repeated.

A welcome move from Sweden to . More governments should announce this—both because it’s right and because it adds momentum to the effort to get the The White House to change course.

Congress passed aid for Ukraine, now President Biden has to let Ukraine actually use it.

The Russian Air Force leveraged Russian airspace sanctuary to strike the Ukrainian equivalent of Home Depot in Kharkiv and kill hundreds of civilians.

It's morally repugnant and militarily incompetent to allow Russian aircraft to continue conducting such attacks with impunity.
