The Murdoch press reporter Clare Armstrong chastises Labor for a lack of transparency.
FFS this from an employee of a corrupt, law breaking multinational that engaged in phone hacking of celebrities, a murdered schoolgirl, bribed police and covered it up!

So a Telegraph and Fin Review reporter lecture the Anthony Albanese govt about spending more on funding organisations that support victims of domestic violence.
The same reporters who constantly call for small govt and tax relief for the wealthy.
The hypocrisy knows no bounds!

Just read the Housing Report.
The projections are bleak for many but particularly devastating for low income families. The Australian housing “market” Is broken.
More neoliberal “fixes” will not work. State and federal govts must invest in public housing! sbs.com.au/news/article/f…

So Anthony Albanese identifies housing as a key issue to address in reducing the crisis of family violence.
Safe, secure, affordable housing reduces financial stress it’s fundamental to building a good society.
More quality public housing desperately needed. The housing market has failed!

It was good to hear Jenny Macklin speak to the work of the Economic Inclusion Advisory Committee.
Surely Labor must fund key recommendations in the upcoming budget.
We can find $360b + for nuclear subs 🤮 surely we can prioritise making life better for disadvantaged Australians!

Wonder if will discuss the reprehensible behaviour of the Australian media, especially the Murdoch rags. They have caused huge damage to our social fabric, economy and environment.
Can’t just all be about X!

How dare the Murdoch press, an organisation with no moral compass, attack ⁦Australian Unions⁩ for opposing the slaughter of innocent Palestinians by the Israeli military.
The disgraced Murdoch press lecturing unions on morality is a twisted, sick joke apple.news/Ah0FGKhV0R2ev0…

I commend the ACTU for refusing to ignore the atrocities inflicted on innocent Palestinians by the Israeli govt and its military machine.
Legitimate community concerns that the Israeli govt is acting disproportionately following Hamas terror attacks. actu.org.au/media-release/…

Thank goodness Mike Pezzullo does not have a seat at the table!
Someone who thinks it’s his “destiny” that he lost his job after playing politics while being a top level public servant should not be advising govt on defence strategy.
We must avoid conflict becoming inevitable.

Always knew the Libs would use the crazy and expensive Aukus decision to buy second hand nuclear subs as a battering ram against Labor.
Labor should dump Aukus and rely on pursuing conventional, effective, affordable defence hardware.
Diplomacy, before aggression. Peace not war!

The argument for small modular nuclear reactors for power plants by Dutton is simply another excuse from the LNP to avoid real action on carbon emissions reduction.
Nuclear not happening on an industrial scale anywhere as shown in ⁦The Guardian⁩ report. theguardian.com/australia-news…

It’s a bit rich for Phil Coorey and Samantha Maiden to claim the Fin Review and the Murdoch press are bound by rules and decency😂
Don’t they read their own publications?

The usual suspects are out attacking Labor’s policy to invest in building Australia’s manufacturing resilience and independence.
Under Banks “leadership” the PC promoted neoliberal ideology that resulted in job losses, and reduced industrial capacity. 😳 apple.news/AD9Luyt7SS-aBQ…

The ANZ/ Core Logic report confirms the housing “market” has failed. More Australians are forced into rental and mortgage poverty with huge social and economic implications.
“Smart”, modular homes help reduce building and running costs we need them here! theurbandeveloper.com/articles/corel…

“A robust and forceful speech” says David Speers as he describes the universally condemned Dutton speech comparing Opera House demonstrations with the Port Arthur massacre.
FFS Dutton’s speech was divisive stupidity from a desperate, despicable politician masquerading as a leader

Modern, environmentally sustainable modular housing costs less to build, less to heat and cool can make a significant contribution to technology, productivity and jobs.
We need a sustainable, productive and fair Australia that delivers for all not just executive salaries!

The smug and disdainful critique of Labor’s strategy to increase our manufacturing independence is typical of the narrow minded neoliberal claptrap that dominates our media.
No wonder politicians are hesitant to take steps to ensure we can make things and create jobs.

The Productivity Commission and the Murdoch press mount an attack on Labor for having the gall to propose we invest in Australian manufacturing jobs.
The bean counters in the PC want us to be a quarry with no downstream processing and no downstream jobs.

That was a great Labor speech by Anthony Albanese
Challenging the status quo, presenting a vision for the future and offering an alternative to Australia continuing as a quarry, farm and tourist destination.
That was Albo and Labor at its best!
