There's plenty of activity in the pond right now, the wee tadpoles are very active. Make sure you pop into the courtyard garden and check them out when you visit.

Meet Stumpy! This wee Lizard has lost part of it's tail at some point making it easy to identify. Keep your eyes peeled down by the Icehouse door and see if you can spot Stumpy or any of their friends.

This little Sparrow was having a big old wash in a puddle in the car park after inspecting it's reflection thoroughly first! 😂 It's nice to stop and appreciate the wee birds we see around the Centre, it's not all about Osprey 😬

Spring is bursting into life here at the Centre, it’s even warm enough to venture outside without a woolly hat.
We are enjoying the sunshine and planning our Easter trail and other holiday activities.

One great about working at the Scottish Dolphin Centre is that you can get out for a walk in some stunning countryside on your lunch break and you never know what you might see. On yesterdays walk I saw a Kestrel. Imagine my surprise when realised it's holding a Lizzard!

Photographing the wee red Frog the other day made me think about seeing a red one before & I wondered if it was the same Frog. Cue some Frog related ID fun! Using photo comparison I discovered that not only is it the same Frog but that I last saw it in July 2022!
