If you're interested in the history of religions and textual analysis of core religious documents, this thread is a great gateway. Can't be sure of who, due to my limited competency in the subject, is correct here, but van Putten seems to make very good points.

Kobayashi and Nomizu reference book for a foundation of differential geometry. A classic, written very formally, not much in terms of visual examples, but a very good set of 3 chapters in Volume 1 on connections, a subject I'm personally trying to improve on.

Of course, Einstein loved music as it played a role in his thinking, and of course, you can trust the Japanese to conserve this historical piano and repair it back to working conditions.

Interesting read ,in some degree of agreement with some parts of his ontological views, in other parts, not so much, his analogies often do not land. Also the neuralink, AGI people must not like him at all.

Many are scared of infinity categories, and for good reasons, as they are a very abstract organizational model for mathematics. Good for us, Riehl does a great job at introducing the subject, via an informal version of HOTT.

The topic of cohomology can be a big road block for many mathematicians and physicists. By the good grace of Youtube algorithm, I found this obscure Malta conference video on the topic, and was impressed by the way the topic was clearly and simply put

1989 Spin Geometry. You wanted to know about Clifford algebras, spin groups, spin geometry, the Dirac operator, index theorems and actions on manifolds? This is a great place to do so. Singer and Atiyah must have been proud of this one.

People who are casually saying things like '' drones being launched towards xyz, WW3?'' have lost their minds. They don't know what a world war even mean. Some are just disjointed from their humanity. Find your soul back.

Never had the chance to read the analytic philosopher and proponent of ''direct realism'' John Searle, but today it's bout to change. If you read him already, share your thoughts!

Pierre Deligne might have been the clearest and most pristine mind I've had the chance to encounter in my life. Want an example? Mr Deligne explaining the meaning of equality, a concept usually taken for granted, but not for Pierre.
