It’s a rainy, lazy day in the big city. Catching my breath and preparing for a big week ahead in Ottawa and The Bahamas.

That Curling Show tomorrow at 6pm ET to put a bow on the season.

Saturday nights in our house in Saskatoon were reserved for hockey.

Bob Cole's voice made us feel like we were there.

I wrote him a letter in Grade 7 telling him I wanted to be a broadcaster. Imagine my thrill getting to do a broadcast with him 20 years later. Simply the best.

It's so wonderful how beloved Bob Cole was by so many. These stories are outstanding.

And how he's being honoured on Saturday night, a night that meant so much to him -- and us all -- is special.

Two races in two days. Two wins for Canada's Andre De Grasse.

De Grasse beats Marcell Jacobs in a photo-finish in a time of 10.11 in the 100m at the East Coast Relays.

🇨🇦 MARCO AROP FOR THE WIN

The Canadian 800m world champion is two for two to start the outdoor season.

He wins in Germany today. And now is heading to The Bahamas to help Canada try and qualify relays for the Olympics.

And not to be forgotten! And my apologies for forgetting in initial post.

The last rock of the 2024 curling season was just thrown.

And it's Sweden winning world mixed doubles gold over Estonia 8-4 over Estonia.

The granite has now come to a final rest on the pebbled sheets for this year.

Canada’s shot putter star Sarah Mitton secures second place at the Diamond League in Shanghai today.

Her throw of 19.86m gets her in the top-three in the second Diamond League stop of the season.

The Canadian men are senior world curling champions after defeating USA 4-3.

Skip Paul Fleming from Nova Scotia makes this runback for the victory.

The Canadian women are senior world curling champions.

Team Froud defeats Lithuania 7-3 to win the title in Sweden today.

They really just need to shake and end this thing.

It’s 9-1 Dodgers leading the Jays in the 6th end.

DE GRASSE FOR THE WIN

🇨🇦 Andre De Grasse wins his opening 200m to begin the outdoor season.

De Grasse posts the fastest time out of 15 heats tonight at the East Coast Relays, stopping the clock in 20.11.

A massive crowd at the Rogers Centre for a not-so great baseball game — unless you’re a fan of the Dodgers.

It’s 8-0 LA leading the Jays in the bottom of the 4th.
