The Sixers’ season is in the books after falling by three, 118-115, to Knicks in Game 6.

Final: Knicks win 118-115, take the series 4-2.

Jalen Brunson led the way with 41/12 for New York. Joel Embiid had 39/13 for the Sixers.

Sixers starters outside of Embiid shot just 13-36 for 34 points, including just 6-18 from Maxey and zero points in 29 minutes from Harris.

One of best playoff performances of Joel Embiid's career, and that even includes the 50 spot he put up in this building a few days ago. Has been in complete control, and countered every defense New York has thrown his way. 35/12 on 11-22 shooting with a ton of hockey assists.

And it's an 83-83 tie heading into the 4th quarter, as we all should have expected.

After the rollercoaster of the first half, we've set back to the equilibrium the first five games had set: these two teams are pretty freakin close.

Knicks have been letting Embiid go to work against single coverage for most of the 3rd, and it's led to some pretty predictable results: Embiid just went to the line for 2 free-throws, his 15th and 16th points of the quarter. He's up to 33 on the night, and the Sixers lead by 7.

Joel Embiid's added 10 points to his total in the first 4 minutes of the 3rd, hitting a pair of 3s, a midrange jumper and 2 free-throws. He's up to 27/11 in 23 minutes and the Sixers lead 66-61 with 8:16 left in the 3rd.
