Yesterdays we gave a presentation to all 5 year groups at Bolsover school highlighting the work Derbyshire Police do, but also the dangers associated carriage of knives and replica firearms. Thanks to the North Engagement Team we delivered this message to over 900 pupils.

It’s #internationalcontrolroomweek so we’d like to say a big thank you to all our colleagues at Police Contact Centre - Derbyshire - all the dispatchers/999 and 101 call takers who do a fantastic job behind the scenes, managing a high workload of calls from the public and keeping officers safe.

AGM today for the PFOA charity that supports firearms and TASER officers up and down the country. Great to hear of all the support given to members over the year for this wonderful charity.

Our thoughts go out to our colleague from Nottinghamshire Police who was injured last night while trying to help a member of the public. Also in our thoughts are his colleagues, friends and family at this devastating time.

Today's Cadets session was different to normal. They was joind by the National Volunteer Police Cadets so they could film our Cadets for their Cadet recruitment campaign. All did really well.
