We are seeing unprecedented action being taken to crackdown on anti-social behaviour. Since I launched my plan there have been 1,899 double crewed patrols across 23 hotspot locations in the city and county.

We have made substantial progress in tackling anti-social behaviour, which is down by 47% across the county.
This is down to the hard work we have all done in addressing the root causes and through the launch of my Derbyshire Action Against Anti-Social Behaviour Plan.

Last year, I launched the Derbyshire Partnership Against Rural Crime group to bring partners together to tackle rural crime.

The Partnership has set out our action plan which will drive forward improvements that will benefit rural communities.

In Derby meeting with officers from one of our Acquisitive Crime Teams to hear about the targeted work they are doing. The team was set last year and their work has contributed to an overall drop in home burglaries by 31% across Derbyshire and Derby City.

Meeting with the Chief Executive of Crimestoppers Mark Hallas. It was good to hear the positive work that has been carried out through Crimestoppers in Derbyshire including the seizure of £10,000 worth of cannabis and the arrest of a drug dealers.

My new Immediate Justice scheme is doing exactly what it promised and is making offenders of anti-social behaviour face up to their actions quickly and pay back into the communities they have harmed.

Since I have been elected, we have increased the size of Rural Crime Team and I have funded extra training for all local police officers. Our tough approach to rural crime is working with home burglaries down in rural areas by 17%.
