Last night High Peak Police stop a car on a country road & place the key to the stopped car on its roof.

Driver spoken too, everyone leaves.

15 miles later the 'keyless' car is very keyless & stuck!

Enter PD Tally who sniffs out the key a distance away from the original stop!

Billie is doing well after being poorly in January. He had a lovely 11th birthday away although he wasn't happy having to wear his drying coat.

Reports of a couple of asses heading into Ripley. No, not PCs Richmond & Morris, but a couple of stray donkeys looking for a #BankHoliday night out! Luckily these heroic officers were on hand to safely wrangle the stray pair back into a field. #NotJustDogHandlers #Donkeys

PD Stella assisted in the detention of a suspect who had stolen a vehicle, rammed numerous Police vehicles and public cars in his wreckless and dangerous attempt to escape. He then decided to resist officers trying to arrest him, that's where PD Stella stepped in! #oneincells

All ready for Crimewatch Live - 10.45. RPD Buzz is as cool as cucumber!

We are hugely privileged to be invited to take part in Crimewatch Live tomorrow on BBC 1 at 10.45.

Tune in to hear Lady B share the work of the NFRSA, and meet RPD Buzz and his handler PC Stuart from Derbys Dog Section who received a grant after suffering a broken leg.

Tomorrow (Wednesday 13th) Crimewatch Live will have a special retired 4 legged colleague in RPD Buzz and his handler PC Stuart on the show.
During his retirement Buzz has been supported by NFRSA and you can learn more about this by tuning in at 10.45am on BBC One !

Yesterday PD Tally, PD Ted & handler attended Gamesley Primary School & Early Excellence Centre to meet the pupils in the Mini Police scheme and to talk about the Dog Section and our dogs. PD Ted also showed off his skills and found some money his handler had hidden.

Following reports of a serious assault in Derby the suspect suspiciously hands himself into Armed Officers after a short chase. Due to this PD STELLA deployed into a large playing field for a property search and locates a large amount of suspected Class A and a phone. #GoodGirl

PD STELLA and Handler were deployed to a high risk, vulnerable missing person last night. After a lengthy area search, the missing person was seen making off from local officers. PD STELLA was deployed and detained the individual. This person will now get the help they need.
