#D10 had a whirlwind of activity last weekend! The Ukrainian community hosted a fundraiser at 1st Baptist Church. Also over 50 volunteers did a neighborhood cleanup in Cap Hill. Finally, a group of bike riders met @ Governor's Park & paraded down a new protected lane on Broadway!

Denver is launching the Citywide Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) project. It'll look at potential updates to the Zoning Code, zoning map & Former Chapter 59 to allow ADUs in all residential areas. Working closely with Coun. Parady & Watson, and Denver CPD & Mayor @MikeJohnstonco.

Assembled a group of passionate downtown neighbors & their dogs to meet Denver Dept of Transportation & Infrastructure for an update about Delgany Bridge. DOTI described a recent structure inspection report. We then had a spirited discussion about creative ideas the neighbors had which we'll look into. #MrDowntown

As we approach Easter, let's lift up our most vulnerable. I applaud the ministry and outreach of the churches in #D10 , including Trinity United Methodist at 18th & Broadway. They sponsored a forum on housing and homelessness that I spoke at. Happy Easter to all who celebrate!

My community coffee brought together the downtown neighbors to the Little Finch Cafe & Bakery on 16th Street Mall. The topics of downtown revitalization, scooters, 5280 Trail, Vision Zero, and progress on the Mall construction were major issues of discussion. #MrDowntown #D10

Denver has great diversity, so I was delighted to celebrate the ancient Persian holiday of #Nowruz , welcoming Spring & New Year. Coun. @serenaforco Gonzales-Gutierrez & I sponsored a Proclamation & lovely celebration with traditional dancing, delicious food & Afghan puppet show!
