Senate report into Govt's migration removals & travel ban bill just released.

Despite not a single submission (apart from Govt Departments) supporting it, the report recommends (surprise, surprise) passing the bill 🤯

One of the most common phrases from any Govt leading up to budget is 'I won't pre-empt what's in the budget'

At the same time they furiously release daily drip feeds of positive things in the budget.

What I think they really mean is they won't confirm what's not in the budget.

Good to see more funding for light rail but really keen to see the federal & ACT govts invest in the other city-building infrastructure we so desperately need, from a new civic pool to a city stadium & convention-centre.
