Elitism ought to be defined as per the local setting & context. You can follow your country's culture & education & still be successful in life. Western education & way of life is not the yardstick for mankind's purpose in life

Not sure I'm crazy about Charterhouse etc either. Don't want kids that can't tell me about Aba women's riot or explain why there were coups in 66' but can talk for hours about all members of the SS 💀
There has to be another way to educate globally competitive AFRICAN children?

Haha 😅
That’s precisely how they want it.
They have no investment in Nigeria and the country is just a place to loot and suck dry.

“Well educated” - doesn’t know where Benue state is but can name all the rivers in Europe.

Toprouser #ENDSARS David Hundeyin Bless you. They all have white llasa dogs, have sons named Jaden and speak with a diluted accent they got off watching E! They have self appointed problems of the West, completely forgetting they live in Nigeria. They celebrate Halloween too.

David Hundeyin The danger of using foreign textbooks verbatim in Nigeria eh. In medical school, they used foreign text to teach us the drugs to store at 'room temperature.' When Naija room temp and foreign room temp are eons apart. Your patients will just die 😂😂

The Nigerian idea of an elite school is one where you pay a boatload of money for your kids to be 'educated' in the syllabus of a country 6,000 miles away, by people who do not look or sound like you, and who come from a completely different historical and civilisational context

I need to remind myself to breathe and step back.

Nigerians are not victims.

The day they decide to act like free citizens of a sovereign state, there is no external interference that will do anything about it.

What they're going through is not oppression.

It's BDSM.

David Hundeyin Important to note...

Your buy agreement does not permit you to replant from the year's harvest. You must always buy seeds from them every planting season, if you do otherwise, you get arrested.

They eventually make you dependent on them.

David Hundeyin I had this experience in 2022. The maize I kept for planting from my 2021 harvest did not germinate. After waiting for about two weeks, I dug some out and found them to be just as I planted them. I didn't know they were GMO. I had to buy another seeds for planting.

All this happened whilst we were here pettily arguing about which tribe owns what and which one will not get a President. In about 4yrs, kindly present yourself and your state of origin to collect cord seeds from an American company. I'm.sure they care about that sort of thing.
