Just grabbed my coffee from Starbucks and when I asked for a straw the employee scoffed and said

“You know it’s a sippy cup right? How about we save the oceans ladies”

The audacity to judge someone. To the employees who worked today at 35 Hudson Yards at 8:54am kindly shut up

@acnh_kayleen Starbucks Honeslty tho the plastic rings on sodas are 10000x worse for the environment and the ocean. I see these hurt more animals than anything, along with balloons. People picked straws because it was an easy “fix”.
