Writing a memoir is very vulnerable-making. Sharing the process of finding my voice & putting all that on stage is a whole other level. Making the play of Maggie & Me is a gift & I’m grateful to ALL the great folk making it happen. As it meets the world I need a break from here❤️

This ‘politician’ typifies the contempt that conservative politicians around the world have for all the arts, from literature to theatre, and the people who work in them and love them. What a mortifying interview.

I’m Not saying I’m tired but tonight I was having a drink in a hotel and a glam group arrived and i admired this woman with an ostrich feather fan which she dropped and I was about to pick it up for her but then it ran across the floor yapping because it was actually a small dog
