This is why the Day Fine is more effective than a standard fine as the Day Fine is based on a portion of your income. For example, not many would park illegally if they were risking 10 days of income en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Day-fine

While this is a huge step forward, its been set up in a way that your report must be assessed by a Garda to see if its an offense without the benefit of evidence. A bizarre approach and one that will, no doubt, mean a lot of reports are not progressed irishcycle.com/2024/08/07/gar…

There is little to like about this and a lot to loathe about it. The RSA should be more concerned with child safety walking and cycling to school instead of working to get them behind the wheel earlier in life A farce irishexaminer.com/news/arid-4145…

This is welcome however in regards to this "It also calls for the assignment of an accessibility rating to all polling stations that is easy for electors to check in advance of voting." There should only be 1 acceptable rating....fully accessible

My elderly father highlighting the bonkers location of bike parking he found at Galway County Council offices where one must carry the bike up/down stairs Installed pre-2014 per Google Streetview A bike ramp could be ordered and installed within weeks to fix this....will it?

Its shameful that this amount of noise has to be made to have a conversation about road safety outside a school......with the school itself rte.ie/news/regional/…
