It is with great sadness that we have received news that the magazine's second editor, Paul Neary, has died. He was in charge when the title became a monthly in 1980, and was also an accomplished comics creator in his own right. We will be running a tribute in the next issue.

Ratings news! The Star Beast was seen by 7.61 million UK viewers in the first seven days. Only Strictly (two eps) and I’m a Celebrity (seven eps) had bigger audiences, putting Doctor Who firmly inside the week’s top 10 programmes. It’s also the show’s biggest rating since 2018!

As confirmed by Russell T over on Instagram, the magnificent Bernard Cribbins' last-ever interview will appear in the next issue of #DoctorWho Magazine (Doctor Who Magazine) – on sale this Thursday.
