🚀 #Ariane6 has wings.

The first Ariane 6 rocket to take flight is being pieced together at Centre spatial guyanais in Kourou, French Guiana. Its two boosters have now been connected to and are supporting the rocket's central core.

🛰28 April: the EU launched 2 new Galileo satellites!

Earlier this morning, the Galileo satellites were ejected from the launcher's upper stage & reached the Holding Point. They are currently managed by #EUSPA as part of the Launch & Early Orbit Phase (LEOP).

Hydrogen train milestone!🚆
For the #FCH2Rail project, DLR & partners successfully tested a hybrid bi-mode train that flexibly switches between overhead power lines & a hydrogen fuel cell/battery system. 🔄🔋A major step towards developing efficient & #sustainable rail travel.

The last Hot Firing Test of the #Ariane 6 upper stage was completed successfully on April 12 at the German Aerospace Center DLR - English P5.2 test stand in Lampoldshausen.
