SIDT1/SIDT2 proteins mediate the cellular uptake and intracellular trafficking of nucleic acids: 8 potential N-glycosylation sites, 5 of them active, required to enter the Golgi. Removal of N-glycans disrupts the interaction with RNA. Journal of Biological Chemistry tinyurl.com/ujrc7byu

Interesting! HPV infection: myosin-9 (NMHC-IIA) interacts with HPV L1 protein and mediates HPV internalization. N-glycans, esp. with terminal Gal, may act as the decoy receptors for HPV by blocking the interaction of HPV to myosin-9. Journal of Biological Chemistry tinyurl.com/539kpyke

Dnia 7 lipca 2023 r. zniesiono obowiązek składania do Państwowej Inspekcji Sanitarnej sprawozdań MZ-55 dotyczących zachorowań i podejrzeń zachorowań na grypę. W związku z tym NIZP-PIB nie publikuje już żadnych danych zbiorczych. Tym samym utraciliśmy monitoring grypy w Polsce.
