The most delicious ice cream ever was a Safeway (Randall's in Texas) own brand ( Safeway Select, I believe) and it was called 'Rio Banana Samba'. It was banana ice cream with semisweet chocolate chunks, banana pieced, and a fudgey chocolate ribbon. I think of it every few months.

It was only made for a few years + discontinued around 2004. While I loved Blue Bell ice cream, nothing could compare to the banana & chocolate Safeway one. Here in the UK, ice cream is very, very different and I hate it. So no ice cream for me these days. What was your fave?

Anastasia-Camille Pistachio almond. I like how it's a pretty green. And so yummy. Can't eat ice cream though because I have blood sugar issues. Oh well.
