A multi-agency coordination group has been set up overnight as partner agencies deal with localised flooding in Cumbria following persistent rainfall.

Emergency services are currently responding to a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A7 in the area of Netherby.

Officers were called to the collision at 4:12pm today (May 22)

The road is currently blocked and will be closed for some time. Please avoid the area.
