We use your kind donations for the core reason of the charity, the care of the dogs and their owners.

We have a sanctuary to maintain with high overheads, vet meds to buy and vet bills to pay. There is NO directors paid ,the vet team volunteer as do our frontline team.

This night 1988 Kenneth Williams went to bed. He woke in the night & took some strong painkillers. He was due a major operation & was in great pain. By the morning, he had died. He was 62. Remembering one of the greats, a comedy hero who I was blessed to meet. A witty clever man.

How is this ever acceptable? A lifetime captivity sounds not what it looks like, a cement hole of a prison is more like it.

This beautiful poor puppy traps himself in tar. The good people save him from drowning just in time, clean, adopt, & give his smile back. Kindness anywhere is humanity everywhere.

Why can't people just sit and read books and be nice to each other?

Whilst in Prague for a Horizons show this evening, I was allowed to wander around the magnificent Klementinum Library. There are books in here with hand written notes by Tycho Brahe! I can’t think of a more stunning example of the romance of knowledge.

These foxes were abandoned as pups and then nursed back to health by this fine Irishman. And even though they were free to return to the wild, they decided to stay with him - forever.
