A1. In school, when you are recognized for who you are, feel valued and respected, and have a voice that is heard, you have a sense of belonging. #CrazyPLN

CrazyPLN #CrazyPLN A1: They are related & intersect but not identical. Equity means equal opportunity & is more an external quality. Belonging is more of a personal need or quality to be part of a group. Problems can occur when they are confused.

Q2: Share an example of how educational equity & belonging work has been shared across your school building/district. #CrazyPLN

We don't talk enough about the empowerment that comes, ironically, from being disempowered. True empowerment comes from within, not external privilege. #CrazyPLN
