Today’s #collectionhighlight is the Special Orders for Railway Mail Guards 1926 from the Eric H. Borgeson Collection (COLL/3555). Marines helped to protect the U.S. mail during a crime wave in the 1920s.

We honor #WomensHistoryMonth with evidence of the contribution that Women Marines made during WWII. There were many support positions filled with women including gunsmiths and weapons maintenance. Thank you to the Women Marines that served during WWII.
