I haven't listened to this yet, but Anderson's book is awesome—provocative and counter-intuitive in all the best sorts of ways; she's someone whose views, no matter how controversial, have the mark of great learning and integrity—and Illing is a great interviewer.

this is so embarrassing. so many jews have fervently supported palestine such that the charge of pure antisemitism no longer works, so now they're claiming those jews aren't jewish enough. i wonder how this person is defining 'tangential jewish descent'? rigorously, i'm sure.
