A huge thank you to all the students AmershamSchool who created 54 individual health care packages for out Outreach Team to give to clients who are rough sleeping, sofa-surfing, or living in temporary accommodation.
Your generosity has been overwhelming – thank you!
Inspiring to visit some of the essential facilities across Oxford run by Connection Support @Aspireoxonline Homeless Oxfordshire yesterday, including dedicated supported housing for women, step-down support and O'Hanlon House. 1/2
We were thrilled, along with our wonderful volunteer hub and Connection Support to nominate Cynthia and Martin for this prestigious award.
Huge congratulations Cynthia and Martin - our Project Director, Yvonne, was so very honoured to share this evening with you 😊

We work with many other organisations to welcome refugees into Oxford.
Most recently, we've launched 'Homes for Ukraine' with Refugee Resource - providing family centered support to Ukrainians to help them settle into their new life.

A productive day at Westminster at the
Homeless Link & Ending Homelessness Together lobby of Parliament.
Thank you Anneliese Dodds, Victoria Prentis and David Johnston OBE MP for meeting Homeless Oxfordshire, Aspire Oxford and Connection Support.

Great meeting with Greg Smith MP to ask for more support & funding for our stretched homelessness services
We want each party’s manifesto to prioritise funding for homelessness services, increase social housing & further work to prevent homelessness from occurring
Good to meet Chris, Amy and Simon from Connection Support & Homeless Oxfordshire as part of the #EndingHomelessnessTogether lobby day.
We talked about how their brilliant outreach and prevention work is supporting those facing homelessness in #Banbury .
Meeting with Victoria Prentis to discuss homelessness stats. Cherwell saw a 59% decrease - due to Rough Sleeper Initiatives, provision of emergency accommodation, links with partner agencies, and local schemes - provided by organisations like ours. But we need long term solutions
We're joining colleagues from across the country at Homeless Link's Lobby of Parliament to come together for change.
The next government must act to end homelessness.
