It is noted that Carpenter has utilized each court movement since taking over as another means to media-publicize his side.

'It appears he wants to try his case to the press continually in the lead-up to trial to maximize his chances of prevailing by prejudicing the jury pool.'

Keller's opening in motion:

'Plaintiffs’ new counsel, John Carpenter, has a problem: no matter which way one cuts it, his clients are inveterate liars... Carpenter has taken to a new tack, to poison the jury pool by making numerous false and misleading statements to the press.'

Meanwhile the defense notes the attorneys still 'have not produced any of [James'] documents, nor...provided an estimated date for Safechuck's production.'

Suggesting they may need court intervention if the delays become unreasonable—they had to do this for Wade's, previously.

Once again Carpenter misattributes the Chandler allegations to '1992' in filing and baselessly suggests the defense hasn't turned over all investigative materials (including what he claims could be 'admissions of MJ' 🤡)

'92 is a convenient falsity given JS' timeline ends there.

The defense's proposed timeline for trial events is below (to be decided by judge in June):

- TRIAL: August 17, 2026

- MOTIONS IN LIMUNE: May 8, 2026

- MOTIONS FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT/ADJUDICATION: Jan. 15, 2026 with Hearing by March 31, 2026

- DISCOVERY: June through Nov. 2025

Once again, Wade & James express a willingness to settle privately before trial, hopeful for a 'concession by defendants...so plaintiffs can go on with their lives.'

MJ's side 'has no interest in settling these matters given the Plaintiff's allegations are unequivocally false.'

Most amusingly, Carpenter argues they could settle privately to avoid 'some of the stigma associated with the trauma of being survivors of CSA.'

But Wade & James have made these claims the center of their lifestyle for many years with podcasts, paid 'consulting' and media tours.

To clarify, the judge must confirm this date. Trial readiness hearing is on June 5, 2024.

This is such an important point. I wonder how many people know that 3 of the accusers had the very same civil attorney.
