Cliff Omoruyi is down to four schools: Alabama, Georgetown, Kansas State, North Carolina. Will announce Sunday per Joe Tipton. Just coming off a UNC visit. Heard it went great, but same thing has been passed along from each visit. St. John’s had early smoke. Now off the table.

We spoke with transfer Cade Tyson yesterday about many things. Great stuff, and we decided to make the interview FREE for fans. Here it is ⬇️

Film Review: Otega Oweh. Strong downhill finisher from the top. Plays through contact. Better spot up shooter than off the bounce. Quick, physical defender who can guard one through four. Defensive minded. kentucky.rivals.com/news/film-revi…

Chaz Lanier is at the top nationally in several scoring and shooting categories. One of the most efficient guards in the country. He fits a need for Mark Pope. kentucky.rivals.com/news/chaz-lani…

This is just to let Kentucky fans get an idea of how strong Oweh Otega is. Playing the three he will get smaller defenders on him. He sends this one flying. Has Adou Thiero type of frame & strength in a 6-5 body. Definitely a physical specimen. CatsIllustrated.com

Otega Oweh does have a hitch in his delivery but his outside shot is much improved. He was shooting over 50% from three after this make. Shot 38% from deep for the year up from 25% as a freshman. He was in the 60th percentile in spot up shooting. CatsIllustrated.com

Otega Oweh defends different spots on this possession & forces a tough shot. He turns the corner on the ball-screen with no hedge pressure. He makes tough shots around the rim with his floater game. CatsIllustrated.com

Otega Oweh was in the 56th percentile last season in transition points per possession. His strength is also scoring at the rim. He does this if the defense is not set. He loves to see driving lanes from the top. CatsIllustrated.com

Otega Oweh has averaged 1.3 steals in his career. Active in the passing lanes. He is a defensive attacker who can generate that into points on the other end. Versatile, defended the one through four versus North Carolina. CatsIllustrated.com

An idea of Otega Owen’s strength. His man doubles the post. When the ball is kicked out he attacks the closeout then finishes through contact with his off hand. He’s tough playing downhill from the top of the key. CatsIllustrated.com

61% of Otega Owen’s shots were at the rim last season. He shot 56% from there. He got stuck in the corner a lot at Oklahoma last year. But when he got the chance he was a good driver & finisher from the top. No hesitation vs the overplay to his left side. CatsIllustrated.com

Cliff Omoruyi’s visit to North Carolina is a big one. Hubert Davis has had a good spring. Loaded lineup just needs to add a big-time five. If he does, look out. It will be a roster with few weaknesses. Tar Heel Illustrated

By far the most useful thing I put together each year.

I outlined roster changes for every team in the top five leagues, plus some others -- departures, players in limbo, returnees, newcomers.

Updated through this AM. Bookmark to keep up all offseason.
