junk sculptor ..chris Iβm only telling you this because youβve asked, and because I know it sounds like showing off, but Iβve owned 28 911βs β¦ so far. They are very different cars though, both are wonderful, at the time the 928βs were unrivalled imho and provided a very different sort of experience.
junk sculptor ..chris The most boring man I have ever worked with owned a dark brown one. He was even more boring after that.
junk sculptor ..chris The gearbox gave him nothing but trouble and it felt flimsy inside. He had a lot of electrical problems with it as well but when it was ok it was brilliant but not that often
junk sculptor ..chris Itβs my all time favourite car, totally reflects such a great era for Porsche. Here in Spain I missed the chance of buying an S4 K reg for 7k, as it was on English plates it put me off, silly mistake.
junk sculptor ..chris Great car, i've driven and repaired/resprayed one, absolutely loved it.
junk sculptor ..chris What kind of fucking stupid question is this? You damn well it's one of the most amazing cars to ever grace the roads!!! π‘
junk sculptor ..chris Owned one. It's just so well engineered. A better car in many ways than my beloved Integrale, and a lot more reliable. The instant wooosh of power from the engine...π€€
junk sculptor ..chris yes. Had a friend who had one. Driving down the motorway (new M54, not much supervision) at 150mph. Felt like 70. When I saw the speedo I made her slow down. She used to deliver pizza in it.
junk sculptor ..chris Best car I ever owned. It was so smooth and controllable on the lounge carpet and drifted beautifully on the kitchen lino. Was excellent at jumps too.
junk sculptor ..chris There was one on bricks in the car park of a little group of bungalows one of which I lived in for a short while. It had been there so long noone seemed to know how it got there or whose it was.. it may be there still π
junk sculptor ..chris I suspect Chris was inspired by my photo of this beauty idling just up from my house yesterday making lovely V8 burbling sounds........
Tas junk sculptor ..chris I have a 5 page invoice to dry my tears with. Every hose, every suspension rubber, cambelt, water pump, alternator, aircon x2, tyres, brakes, torque tube, powder coating of magnesium rocker covers and intake, cams x 4 reground and hardened due to wear on lobes, and on it goes.
junk sculptor ..chris 1990 928S4. Bought during covid. One owner 140,000 kay car with Porsche service history, but left sitting for a few years. $30k in work to get it reliable. Epic roadtrip car, great balance but honestly not that fast and a little disappointing, especially with the auto.
