Health inequalities are worsening year on year. If we don’t persuade the government to invest in the community, this 2 tier healthcare will happen.
It’s not just morally wrong.
It will catastrophically harm our economy & damage our whole society.

But the reality is that we are all struggling, and this is hugely to the detriment of our patients.
An adequately resourced primary care would do so much to improve our nation’s health.

Practices across the UK are feeling overwhelmed by unsustainable workload and many GPs are crushed by the moral distress of trying to meet demand.
Investment in the community will improve the nation’s health & reduce pressure on secondary care.

Critical investment needed to guarantee support for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence in Wales. Failing these people is not only morally wrong, it also costs society far more in the long run.

NAO report number of fully qualified GPs will rise by only 4% between 2021 and 2036 compared to a 49% rise in the number of consultants. #nhs will fall over if we don’t increase number of GPs as our patients need generalists given the changes in health care needs.

In areas of high deprivation, GPs spend much time dealing with the consequences of poor housing, debt, relationships, and loneliness.

Social prescribing connects people to services in their community to meet these practical, social and emotional needs.
