Officers observed an L-shaped imprint on a subject's pants as he entered a vehicle and approached to conduct a field interview. The subject fled striking one of the officers about the face with a closed fist. The offender was subsequently apprehended and the firearm recovered.

While working a robbery mission in the 8th district. Area 1 PRT 4166 team responded to the area of 65th/Campbell where 2 stolen vehicles were located. Upon approach 4 offenders fled on foot and one offender was placed into custody, firearm and drum recovered. Chicago Police

On August 24 our PRT 4165 team conducted a Gang Suppression mission in the 008 District and recovered the pictured narcotics and ballistic vest of a driver, a convicted felon for human trafficking.

Officers of our PRT observed a vehicle parked in a tow zone, they were able to detain the driver and recovered a loaded firearm with an extended magazine. Offender was charged with UUW by felon.

Area PRT officers responded to assist other officers at a large illegal party where a vehicle committed traffic violations in front of the party. Two juvenile offenders were placed into custody and charged with Aggravated UUW and 2 weapons were recovered.

PRT officers conducted a traffic stop and recovered a loaded firearm with an extended magazine between the driver's seat and center console. The driver, a convicted felon, was charged with a UUW by felon.

An offender with multiple felony convictions and on parole was apprehended by PRT officers and placed into custody. Charges for Class X Felony of Armed Habitual Criminal were approved. Great job to our officers!

During a traffic stop officers of our PRT observed open alcohol and subsequently recovered cannabis and a loaded 9mm firearm with an extended magazine. Felony charges approved for Aggravated UUW. Great work!

Mexican Independence weekend, PRT 4165 conducted a mission in 008 and responded to a call of shots fired. An offender was caught with an empty holster and magazine at a residence he ran into, 3 other firearms were recovered. He was charged with Attempted First Degree Murder.

A loaded 9mm semi-automatic handgun and cannabis was recovered after a traffic stop. The offender was in possession of a revoked FOID card and placed into custody and subsequently charged. Great job to our Area PRT!

An offender was placed into custody after he was observed drinking on the public way. During a protective pat down a firearm was recovered. Charges were approved for Agg Battery to PO and Armed Habitual Criminal a Class X felony. Great job to our PRT officers!
