The The University of Chicago team recently went to a local Taco Bell to give a presentation to the Taco Bell employees about #lungcancerscreening and risk factors. The team then tabled at the restaurant and spoke to customers about the INSPIRE study! #screeningsaveslives

Congratulations to our American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative UPR for hosting their FIRST event! 🥳 They tabled at their Student Center & talked to people about #lungcancer in the Latino community! They also shared some #lungcancer screening resources & recruited a couple more members to their team! Amazing work!

Last week, our Boston team shared #lungcancer #screening resources at the American Red Cross Food Pantry. We were moved by the stories shared by many families affected by lung cancer and will be back soon to continue spreading the word about #earlydetection !!

Our The University of Chicago chapter tabled at the Hyde Park Food Pantry and the Centro Communitario Juan Diego Food Pantry to teach community members about #earlydetection ! The team spoke to folks waiting in line about #lungcancer , #riskfactors , and lung cancer screening eligibility!

Our awesome CU Boulder 🦬 chapter held a recruiting event at their “Be Involved Fair!” Over 25 students signed up to join the team and the chapter met some other health advocacy organizations to collaborate with! Check out these amazing pictures from the event🤩 #lungcancerawareness

Today, Deepti Srinivasan represented Mass General Surgery at the clinical science session of Harvard Surgery Research Day. She presented on #lungcancerscreening : under the USPSTF guidelines, only 57% of SCCS pts undergoing surgery & 59% of stage IV pts would’ve been eligible for screening.
