We had a marine biologist and her family join us on the fossil walk yesterday. While they all found fossils, they also spotted this tiny brittlestar on the underside of a rock! Great to have some modern critters alongside the fossilised ones!

Some stunning finds on the fossil walk today! It's not every day we see an ichthyosaur tooth but today we had 2 out there! And one of the thickest pieces of crinoid stem in a while! What a way to spend the #bankholiday

Another fantastic seashore safari & Scavenger hunt today! We found some cuttlefish eggs and this rarely spotted sea spider! Some of the fish and prawns will live in our catch and release tank until

The nurdles and bio beads have been cleaned and counted from our May beach clean. 2,500 will now be added to our nurdle tube in the centre. Once full they will be send off and recycled into new products. Our next beach clean events can be found here: charmouth.org/chcc/events-ca…
