@CerebralDoc Noted with thanks. Have reviewed all weekend chores and determined the only sensible plan is to rest, read and watch some movies. Very much appreciated. @Amanda51577998 FYI doctors orders.

Despite major advances in neuroscience over the last decade, very little is known about many aspects of brain function. Our globally-renowned genomics experts use the latest sequencing technologies to identify the specific genetic variants implicated in brain disease

Dr. Dr. K M James ๐Ÿ€ Colleen @CerebralDoc This is a completely normal triage protocol in multi casualty situations. It just isnโ€™t normal for it to come into play in hospital situations.

kassilei @CerebralDoc Seth Trueger Legos, sidewalk cracks, and couches rarely require the ICU.

If only there was a way to reduce the number of COVID cases requiring hospitalization and clogging up the healthcare system in general.

David Dufresne Dr. Dr. K M James ๐Ÿ€ Colleen @CerebralDoc I'm pretty sure that KMJames is intentionally trolling here. Either that or he just doesn't understand the words 'unethical' or 'triage'.

Dr. Dr. K M James ๐Ÿ€ Colleen @CerebralDoc It would be ethical to throw everything at a patient who isn't expected to live? Meanwhile, someone in the red falls down into the black. You create a cycle of death. Then people in the yellow aren't going to get care, and some in that group may move to red.

Dr. Dr. K M James ๐Ÿ€ Colleen @CerebralDoc I donโ€™t think the word you are looking for is unethical. Terrible, brutal, crisisโ€ฆ etc. this is like literally the theme of ethics.

Sandy ๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ’‰ Anthony Goldsmith @CerebralDoc I my experience, carpet is more slippery on stairs (but softer when you inevitably fall on your arse).
Maybe polish the steps and put a tight weave sisal or 100% wool runner down them?
Looks good, stands up to cat claws, won't try to kill you on a semi regular basis.

Dr. Dr. K M James ๐Ÿ€ Colleen @CerebralDoc Whatโ€™s your basis for stating this is unethical? Triage is amply discussed in the ethics literature. In the absence of enough resources to treat everyone, it allows to provide the most benefit and not waste resources on minor issues or pt that will die no matter what.
