Anaeramoeba are really amazing protists. In the latest paper "Massive intein content in Anaeramoeba reveals aspects of intein mobility in eukaryotes" with Ivan Cepicka as coauthor you can read about the most intein-rich eukaryotic genomes so far. pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn…
