Alien invasive pufferfish species pressure on the native biodiversity, fisheries, and human health in the Mediterranean Sea. I witnessed this with my cam while doing fieldwork, and I projected and edited this short documentary video.

Lizardfish (Saurida lessepsianus) is an alien species that invaded from the Red Sea into the Mediterranean, eating Mediterranean native striped seabream (Lithognathus mormyrus)
İt is a good example to see how alien species are affecting the native Mediterranean species.

it was pleasure to collect invasive water hyacinth from Asi river with İSTE students under support of UNDP MarIAS project and Ministry of Agriculture and Forest of Turkey. when water hyacinth lies on the coast it prevents the nestlings of sea turtles to reach sea.
