Unusually, I’m sat on the government front bench. I’m not defecting, don’t worry! I’m about to present my private members bill calling for the introduction of a Tenant Farming Commissioner. Tenant farmers are especially vulnerable at this time, let’s protect them.

Inland border checks are going to be off the scale bonkers. A failure of implementation only a Tory government could dream up.

1) Enter the UK.
2) Drive 22 miles to get checked.
3) If found dodgy, drive 22 miles back and meekly leave the UK.

Urban councils receive about 38% more Government funding per head than rural councils do. Yesterday, I asked the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities what steps it was taking to address this inequality.

A failure of our system but the Lords tried hard to stop this appalling, cruel policy.
I sincerely hope that a plane never takes off. Rwanda is not the answer to the immigration issue. This despicable government needs to go now.
