A’s fans created the first-ever fan-funded giveaway. They wanted to raise enough to make 5k shirts. They blew past their goal and added an extra 2k shirts to the total. They will be given out on 6/13 at the Oakland Coliseum. Pretty unreal.

This quote echoes everything I've heard so far about the A's pursuit of Las Vegas.

Earlier today the Monopoly Sacramento Edition game had its launch party. We are excited to announce that we were acknowledged for our role to help save our Sacramento Kings and build the Golden 1 Center as we are on a Community Chest piece for the game. #BiggerThanBasketball

For those who don’t know, Kunal Merchant worked behind the curtain as Think Big Sacramento with Kevin Johnson. Sacramento always supported the Kings as you’ll notice in his other tweets. Think Big Sacramento were able to secure more sponsorships and a local ownership group.
