October 3rd was declared Atlantic Salmon Conservation Day in Fredericton, NB by the mayor. As part of the ceremonies, CRI Director Dr. Jen Lento presented CRI PhD student Ryan Hill with the Bud and Peggy Bird Scholarship for his research on upstream passage solutions for salmon.
