I'm going to write a tweet thread addressing the common concerns I see from people around THORChain lending. This can be used as a tool to reply to 'maxis' when they post some vanilla argument.

With the lending caps 75% full, we should see them hit within a couple weeks. This means the caps were filled from 25%-->100% in about 1.5 months.

Lending caps were raised almost 30 days ago. In that time we've seen consistent usage of lending, as users have deposited 1k BTC as collateral and 15k ETH. Demand continues to be there for this protocol.

Will be interesting to watch the next 30 days and see at what rate loans

If you've been in the THORChain community for a while, you prob take large green bars for granted. Whether its TVL, unique swappers, volume, quantity of exogenous tokens, etc.

Almost every major KPI has been up and to the right for a long time now, even during the bear market.

How much money is 'f*ck you' money?

.THORChain loans are not risk-free. There is always protocol risk, and the design is still being validated (hence caps). No one is claiming 'risk-free'.

FYI, you can't quote some rando Twitter account and use that as evidence of anything other than your own weak argument.

It's pretty easy to dismiss something when you know nothing about it. Your perspective is only as valuable as your knowledge and experience.
