Yesterday, CBP signed a statement of intent with Hải quan Việt Nam to explore an info sharing program to enhance our countries’ collaboration on cargo risk management. This arrangement will be the first pilot of its kind for CBP in the Asia Pacific region.

This morning, we ran to remember our fallen.
I was honored to join more than 300 men and women from across CBP - and hundreds more from our partner agencies - for this morning’s 5K run to start #NationalPoliceWeek .

The men and women of CBP are on the #FrontlineAgainstFentanyl , safeguarding communities from this devastating drug. 

Every day - but especially on #FentanylAwarenessDay - we are unrelenting in this mission. 

This is a fight we take personally. And one we simply will not lose.

Each day, over 60,000 CBP personnel are on the frontline contributing to our mission of securing our borders and facilitating legitimate trade and travel - while also performing rescues and helping those in need. I'm honored to serve alongside them. #PSRW2024

Last week I met with CBP leaders to share best practices and examine shared solutions to support the workforce as we strive to create a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. We’re committed to embracing change and driving excellence in all that we do.

.CBP works every single day to combat transnational criminal organizations and stop the transport of synthetic drugs into our nation. Last fiscal year, CBP seized enough fentanyl for 1.2 billion doses.
