Our copy of Adam Wells Perry: A drinkers guide was waiting for us this morning. This looks like a wonderful read! Allen has used this as an excuse to take our bottle conditioned perry home with us.
Here's my excited brother and I holding our copies of Adam Wells's book, published today by CAMRA Cider & Perry, 'Perry: A Drinker's Guide.' And wow are we happy about it!! This book is a sensational achievement by one of the very best we have. A complete encyclopedia of perry!
It seems very appropriate tonight to crack open one of my remaining 2019 vintages of BEARDspoon ‘Pearfect’. A single variety Perry, probably a Huffcap, from an ancient single tree on the Isle of Oxney, Kent. Off dry with a touch of fizz, has aged well.
