We saw 18 firefighters graduate from our 2024 Volunteer Recruit Academy on Sunday - 14 for the Napa County Fire Department and four for the South Lake County Fire Protection District. We congratulate you on your graduation & are proud to have you helping protect our communities.

Today, South Lake County Fire Protection District hosted their 10th Annual Open House in Middletown. It was great having you all come visit the station and spend the day with the Firefighters! A special thank you to everyone that helped make this event possible!

Today, CAL FIRE LNU attended multiple events throughout the Unit. It was great seeing everyone that attended each of these events: Women in Public Safety in Santa Rosa, Northshore Ready Fest in Lucerne, YMCA Healthy Kids Day in Sonoma County.

This afternoon, CAL FIRE LNU and @calistoga_fire responded to a vehicle fire near the 4600 block of Lake County Highway (Hwy 29) near the Robert Louis Stevenson State Park, Napa County. With the fast actions from the firefighter at scene the fire was quickly extinguished.

Today, CAL FIRE LNU participated in the Fire and EMS Job Fair at the Santa Rosa Junior College. It was great meeting the very enthusiastic candidates. Thank you all for coming out!
