This #FarmBill must prioritize food security. Over 25% of my district depends on SNAP. Cutting benefits when food costs are skyrocketing is unthinkable. The Farm Bill should protect and expand SNAP to end hunger in America. We must ensure we work together in a bipartisan fashion.

At today's #FarmBill markup, Rep. Jim Costa highlighted the stark contrast in the San Joaquin Valley: despite high productivity, over 25% of residents are food insecure. Programs like #SNAP , #WIC , and School Lunch are essential.

Food is a national security issue.

Nationally, 25% of parents with diaper need reported missing an average of 5 days of work or school in the past month due to not having enough diapers to drop children off at child care. My bill, AB 2446, expands access to free diapers & passed the Assembly. On to the Senate!
